Admission Standards

  • High School Diploma or GED: Evidence of completion with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Biblical Foundation: A demonstrated commitment to Christian values and a willingness to learn within a biblical worldview.
  • Personal Statement: A 500-word essay detailing your calling to the ministry of counseling and your personal faith journey.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Two references, including one from a pastor or ministry leader who can attest to your spiritual maturity.
  • Interview: A personal interview with the Department of Religious Studies to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Prerequisite Credits: Completion of general education requirements as specified in the university catalog.
